Backend Web Development

Backend web development refers to all of the coding that you dont actually see. (HTML displays the actual output)

I am a back end web developer. All of the coding I do has to do with the functionality of the website, not how it looks. I use PHP when coding the back end of an application.

Often, I am sub contracted by web designers that have excellent web design skills, but are not experienced with web development and programming like form processing and database interaction.

I have created numerous custom content management systems that enable clients to gain back end access to their website through password authentication.

Other examples of back-end web development I have done include event management applications, project managers and classified websites.

I support designers by plugging in all of the website functionality into the web design. I have been working in tandem with designers like this for 11+ years.
